A child's dilemma..

 She is happy.
She is contented with her life.
She's their angel.

...

...

..

LIES..

...

She just wished  to be free and be recognized.

She haven't experienced a real childhood.

'Come inside sweetie..you'll get dirty out there'

She only knew a few outdoor games.

'Can I play with them?'  'We'll See'

She haven't tried walking in the rain.

'Join us.' the kids in the neighborhood invited her.

She can only shook her head.

'Im sorry. they won't let me'

The four corner's of the room became her best friends.
The books, as her playmates.
She learned to control and hide her own opinions.

'Mom,Dad I'm the top 3 in the class' she said.

'You should have been the top 1' they replied.

She just nod her head and left.

She grew following what they ordered her to do.

'Yes, Mom,Dad'

A marionette in their own fresh and blood.

'That's not what you should do'

She tried to reason out.

'Yes..b-but this is not right..'

Slap and kicks were the replied.

'You're just our child.'

'but the right for you is wrong for me and for the world.
I don't wanna see you be their laughing stock.' she thought.

She cried hard and endure the pain.

'You don't have the right to answer us.' they said.

'I know and I'm sorry'.she apologized.

'..but you don't have the right to hit me either' cried the little voice inside her head.

One wrong mistake and she could hear what she feared.

'I should have aborted you instead'

'Why can't you be like your cousins?'

Physically, mentally, emotionally traumatized.
No one can understand her.
She just want them to recognize her.
She strive hard and excelled in class.
She want them to be proud of her.
Just a simple 'I'm proud of my daughter' would be enough for her.

'is that all you can do?' came their reply.

How does it feel to speak up your opinions freely?
Would they disown their child?
Is it right to hit their own child?

'Can I take this course?'

'No you can't. Just take the one I chose for you'

'Don't I have a say on this?'

'No you don't have.'

She's happy or that was how others thought.

They can't see behind her mask.

Her eyes reflects her inner self.

A little girl is trapped inside of her.

Yearning for love that can completely understand her.

'You should be like your parents'

'What an obedient daughter. I'm sure you'll grow up like your parents'

Whispers..gossips..

Should she take it as a compliment that
they want her to be under her parents'shadow?

Can't they understand that she just want them to see.

The REAL HER..

She's tired of being compared.
She's fed up with living under their shadows.
All her efforts were futile.

'I should have aborted you instead'

Tears ran down as she remembered those vivid lines.
Their disappointment that forever haunt her will now come to end.
As the cold metal edge of the blade silenced her.

'I'm sorry but I tried hard. It's just that I can't reach your high standards.
I love you, Mom,Dad'

Donghae or Hongki?

HONGKI IS THAT CHU?!!
(this is a gif from his upcoming Taiwanese drama 'Skip Beat')

Top 10 myths about introverts

Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk.

This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days.
Myth #2 – Introverts are shy.

Shyness has nothing to do with being an Introvert. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people. What they need is a reason to interact. They don’t interact for the sake of interacting. If you want to talk to an Introvert, just start talking. Don’t worry about being polite.

Myth #3 – Introverts are rude.

Introverts often don’t see a reason for beating around the bush with social pleasantries. They want everyone to just be real and honest. Unfortunately, this is not acceptable in most settings, so Introverts can feel a lot of pressure to fit in, which they find exhausting.
Myth #4 – Introverts don’t like people.

On the contrary, Introverts intensely value the few friends they have. They can count their close friends on one hand. If you are lucky enough for an introvert to consider you a friend, you probably have a loyal ally for life. Once you have earned their respect as being a person of substance, you’re in.
Myth #5 – Introverts don’t like to go out in public.

Nonsense. Introverts just don’t like to go out in public FOR AS LONG. They also like to avoid the complications that are involved in public activities. They take in data and experiences very quickly, and as a result, don’t need to be there for long to “get it.” They’re ready to go home, recharge, and process it all. In fact, recharging is absolutely crucial for Introverts.
Myth #6 – Introverts always want to be alone.

Introverts are perfectly comfortable with their own thoughts. They think a lot. They daydream. They like to have problems to work on, puzzles to solve. But they can also get incredibly lonely if they don’t have anyone to share their discoveries with. They crave an authentic and sincere connection with ONE PERSON at a time.
Myth #7 – Introverts are weird.

Introverts are often individualists. They don’t follow the crowd. They’d prefer to be valued for their novel ways of living. They think for themselves and because of that, they often challenge the norm. They don’t make most decisions based on what is popular or trendy.
Myth #8 – Introverts are aloof nerds.

Introverts are people who primarily look inward, paying close attention to their thoughts and emotions. It’s not that they are incapable of paying attention to what is going on around them, it’s just that their inner world is much more stimulating and rewarding to them.
Myth #9 – Introverts don’t know how to relax and have fun.

Introverts typically relax at home or in nature, not in busy public places. Introverts are not thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies. If there is too much talking and noise going on, they shut down. Their brains are too sensitive to the neurotransmitter called Dopamine. Introverts and Extroverts have different dominant neuro-pathways. Just look it up.
Myth #10 – Introverts can fix themselves and become Extroverts.

Introverts cannot “fix themselves” and deserve respect for their natural temperament and contributions to the human race. In fact, one study (Silverman, 1986) showed that the percentage of Introverts increases with IQ.

'tis my summer story or not..wanna hear it?

The last day of the horrifying final examination, marks the start of my summer break..

'Booo!!,another boring summer'..the devil in me keeps on replaying it.

'Devil, devil, hear thee.. thou shall not corrupt my innocent mind' ..
reacted by my very good and optimistic side.

There goes the usual situation in my mind.
I'm battling over myself..
People who would hear this might think I have a loose screw..

I admit, unlike those who have summer jobs I became physically and financially
unproductive over the summer.

Yes.. It might sound lazy but it's not..
It's just that I don't have anything to do to have the common and infamous summer vacation..

Infamous?.. you ask..
well there goes the
  • OUT-OF-THE-COUNTRY-TRIP..
(something to boast for the 'hungry piranhas (a.k.a HATERS) who loves bashing you)

  •  MALL hopping-slash-shopping
(another reason to file for bankruptcy..)

  • Oh-it's-holy-week-and-I-don't-care
( too much engross in the trip and forget his Christian responsibility)

And so on and so fort.. I won't list all of them down 'coz i'm not here to talk about that.

Back to my unproductive yet it's not summer vacation,
Anyone who reads this would automatically react..
"You're just  bitter over having a lame summer"

Well.. believe it or not I'm one of those 60% who love and enjoyed

Dear Lee Donghae,

Dear Lee Donghae,

  • You are like a kid trapped inside a man's body, even though sometimes you act childish but i think it's your charm! xD

I am now a SELF PROCLAIMED BABY ELFISH!!

 (Im a Gamer too though!!!!)

Politics and church issues..a tourist attraction in the Philippines

Im so annoyed the way religion and political issues are always teamed up in one sentence..
(church dictator over statesmen?)

I'm a Christian.. a Catholic to be specific who never fails to go to church every sunday and attend first friday masses..It's been long gone where the state and the church act as one. 'Tis isn't Constantine's time anymore..

well.. RH bill is the most heated discussion and is a perfect example but because of that more issues both from the church and the government arises..

Yeah! those parties love to be in the frontpage of every newspapers in the country..

I have read a part in the Phil. Constitution where it states that the state was created with the church as the basis or something like "The state acts alone.."

Morality... yeah! that was what they preach.. but have they thought that being in a frontpage of newspapers and cheap tabloids would make them different from the other citizens..

I wonder what's up with Entertainment people and church leaders wanting to be a politician or a statesman...

There's no law saying that they can't enter politics but they have THAT BIG CONFIDENCE that they can make a BIG CHANGE in our political stature..  In my opinion, they haven't done anything but added oil to the burning fire..

For me..it's better if they STICK TO THE STATUS QUO..

to quote Thomas Aquainas.. "it's better to see a fox fly than for a priest to lie"

or in other words it's better for a priest to give homily and induce reformation as a churchman rather than joining politics and controlling the government..it would tarnish the name of the church, and also of its members..stop using religion as a stepping stone in politics.

Try to resolve internal and political issues within your turf first before dealing with others..
( *cough* Priest molesting children *cough) (*cough* funds *cough*)

it's what you call LIVE WHAT YOU PREACH..

*im just so disappointed..so instead of ranting on my Group Message (w/c will annoy people in my contacts),on my twitter (i intend to spam )and my FaceBook (nuns/school admins are stalking our profiles..better be careful).. I now  have the common sense to publish it on my blog..  i have the habit of drafting my rants here on my blog than publishing it..*

So YAAAY!! for me..haha

Fangirl rant

P-Pop seriously..
you are one hell of a debate for me as a filipino and as a kpop fan..
you are not a genre (that's good!!i just found out too)and
becoming the face of the
ORIGINAL PINOY MUSIC
(since you are in riding the fame of OPM and Kpop too)..

it's okay to pattern or be inspired by k-pop but don't copy their songs
you are disgracing the originality of our music industry.. UGH!!
I have a high respect for the Filipino artists (composers, singers, bands)

YEAH.. IM REFERRING TO THE LABEL RECORD "P-POP" ..
well,i can agree on kpop not being originally written by koreans and legally
since most entertainment company just bought the rights for that song
or maybe sell it's rights again (like Sarah Conner bought the rights of Mirotic) ..
but did YOU?
did you even asked permission to use a part of their song to be included in  your songs?

Even a newly converted k-pop fan can recognized their songs in your songs..

It's such a shame if Korean entertainment companies will give attention to this and file a case..

Our country is very famous for our political issues
(mostly the downsides)...

Please don't make us famous again for stealing or plagiarizing songs of others..

"Disposable" :an art appreciation, reflection paper about the abortion themed painting

 “DISPOSABLE”

Painting by: Krista Porlares

Words by: Bernadinne Jane Montecino

It’s not as elegant as Jun Porlares’, “A Time for Everything”, but the painting portrays the very extreme realities in life and in our society. The painting shows the evident truth and that as time goes by more and more people are embracing immorality. “Disposable” is one of the artworks that really catches my attention. For me, it also shows the, what I term as the “battle between the Catholic Church and the State” which started since 1998 when RH Bill was first propose . We are living in a fast paced society. We all depend on ‘instant’ nowadays. I, myself   is fond of those ‘instant’ things. ‘Instant’ message, ‘instant’ noodles.  Relatively, there are also the disposables. Mostly, they are associated with plastics, wrappers and cans and recently, life.

Way back in high school, I often read or hear news about  fetus wrapped in poor quality papers or plastics and  being left or rather dumped in trash bins, drums, sewages and the worst is just along the streets. Clearly, this shows how a life can be ‘disposed’easily. Totally ignoring one’s own conscience.Often, these news came from Filipino-based news reports.

My reaction would always be, “What kind of a human being would abort her child, it’s inhumane!”.
Thoughts would always fill my mind on how moral Filipinos really are. No matter how the majority would insist that we are moral, for me Christians and Filipinos alike are still immoral and still needs enlightenment. We still have a problem on what is right and what is wrong.

I have once read an article written by Fr. Vitaliano Gorospe. SJ

“It is quite obvious that there is a conflict between what they say as Christians and what they do as Filipinos. between their actual Filipino behavior and their ideal Christian behavior; in short, between what is and what ought to be.”

Even now, it is still a wonder for me how all organs fit in our body.  Disposing a fetus is not a solution to every unwanted pregnancy. Life is the most precious gift God gave to us. We should take care of it and let others also realized the value of life and how beautiful life is. We are the stewards of God’s creation; every one of us is accountable of each other since we are brothers and sisters in the eyes of God.
